Westpac PNG is seeking a Credit Analyst to assess and analyse customer credit applications, prepare high-quality credit submissions, and support risk management. You will evaluate financial information, monitor portfolios, and provide well-reasoned lending recommendations in a timely manner.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers and stakeholders, ensure adherence to lending policies, and contribute to portfolio monitoring and reporting.

Formación

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Experience in credit analysis, lending, business banking, or financial services.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical capability with experience in cashflow modelling.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and business performance assessment.
• Sound knowledge of credit risk management and lending practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively within a team.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and prepare credit submissions, annual reviews, and recommendations.
• Analyse financial statements, cashflows, and customer creditworthiness.
• Monitor portfolio performance, credit quality, and emerging risks.
• Ensure compliance with lending policies, governance requirements, and risk frameworks.
• Maintain accurate credit records, reporting, and risk reviews.
• Support process improvements and strengthen internal controls.
• Build strong relationships with Relationship Managers, customers, and key stakeholders.
• Deliver trusted advice and excellent customer service to support customer outcomes.
