Job summary

Points West Community Bank is seeking an in-office Loan Analyst to support lending and operations. The role focuses on credit analysis, financial statement spread, ratio calculations, and collateral assessment for business and personal loans.

Responsibilities include monitoring SBA loans, internal loan audits, reporting loan exceptions, and assisting with day-to-day operations while growing knowledge of underwriting and compliance policies.

Qualifications

• Financial analyst or accounting experience required.
• Ability to communicate well with customers and employees.
• Interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• College degree or previous banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in lending and operational activities.
• Analyze credit, spread financial statements/tax returns, calculate ratios and collateral.
• Monitor loans to ensure proper documentation, covenants, mitigate risk and identify trends.
• Work with loan officers, loan administration and report to Branch Manager.
• Develop knowledge of underwriting, documentation, appraisals, compliance and internal bank reports.
