Western Alliance Bank, a unit of Western Alliance Bancorporation, seeks a Credit Analyst in Phoenix to support loan officers and executives by analyzing financials and preparing credit materials. You will spread financial statements, assess risk and help maintain compliance across bank processes.

You will collaborate with treasury, FX and legal teams, prepare loan packages for new and restructured loans, and assist in monitoring disbursements and reporting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accounting course.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• An interest in working in Commercial Banking.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Spread, manage and maintain financial background information on present and prospective customers.
• Develop credit studies for Loan Officers, Chief Credit Officer and other Executive Management.
• Prepare in-depth reports and credit department reports.
• Analyze credit and collateral information to determine risk for lending.
• Collaborate across bank groups to manage treasury products, FX, derivatives and legal documents.
• Produce loan packages for new and restructured loans.
• Monitor loan disbursements for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with third parties like field auditors and appraisers.
