Job summary

IDI: Insulation Distributors Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Credit Analyst to manage credit, collections, and accounts receivable reconciliation for a designated portfolio.

The role involves reviewing credit applications, assessing financial position, and coordinating with the Credit Management Team to optimize risk and cash flow. You will build relationships with customers, implement payment plans as needed, and ensure collection activities comply with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• College degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of credit experience or related finance experience.
• Strong understanding of credit reports and credit scoring.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

• Review incoming credit applications and provide recommendations to Credit Management Team.
• Periodically evaluate customer financial conditions and credit risk.
• Review orders exceeding credit limits or past due triggers and take action.
• Identify customers needing higher credit limits and perform reviews.
• Build strong relationships to maximize cash flow and conduct collections.
• Initiate timely collections via calls, emails, and other communications.
• Document discussions and ensure timely follow-up with delinquencies.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties beneficial to IDI.
