Job summary

Viking Electric in Addison, IL is seeking a dedicated Credit Analyst to join our in-office team. You will manage day-to-day credit activities, maintain DSO targets, and oversee accounts receivable for a fast-paced electrical construction environment.

The role requires 2–3 years in commercial credit or AR collections, a four-year business degree or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Limited travel and extra hours may be required. We offer strong benefits within the Sonepar family.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in commercial credit or accounts receivable collections, preferably in electrical construction-related field.
• Four-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Limited travel and willingness to work extra hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day activity in Credit Department and maintain DSO/past-due AR targets.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve problems, authorize orders, and maintain billing information.
• Manage collections, meet with Credit Manager monthly to discuss status.
• Monitor sales tax collection for managed accounts and facilitate joint account reviews.
• Assist and train salespeople on collection approaches and options.
