Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Five years banking experience; lending area preferred.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead the loan department staff with focus on loan quality control and policy adherence.
  • Coordinate with Chief Credit Officer and perform leadership on bank systems (nCino, Quality Control, 1071 Loan register).
  • Review credit authorizations and provide feedback to senior staff and loan officers.
  • Maintain knowledge of loan programs and lending regulations; support examinations and audits.
  • Promote customer service and professional conduct in all interactions.
