Job summary

Farmers Furniture is seeking an experienced Credit and Accounts Receivable Supervisor to coordinate credit approvals, oversee collections, and manage AR activities. The role requires strong attention to detail, 3+ years in accounting/collections, and a valid Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, loan processing, and/or collections.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage credit operations.
• Strong understanding of credit approval procedures and collection practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and leads assigned staff in credit and collections operations.
• Oversees accounts receivable and collection activities.
• Reviews credit applications, investigates financial status, and approves or rejects credit.
• Contacts delinquent customers to collect payments and enforces terms.
• Maintains documentation and reporting for collections and credit activities.
• Prepares paperwork for legal action when necessary.
• Ensures safe storage of customer files and adherence to privacy policies.
