Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years experience in accounting/bookkeeping, loan processing, and/or collections; or any combination of training, experience and education which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position; valid State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable and collection activities.
• Review and investigate credit applications; determine approval or rejection and establish credit limits.
• Contact delinquent customers by phone/text/mail to collect past-due amounts; may visit customers and assist with repossessions as needed.
• Document all customer communications and ensure proper file maintenance.
• Prepare paperwork for potential legal action and coordinate with attorneys or agencies on collections.
• Maintain organized, secure customer files and ensure compliance with company procedures.
