Job summary

Farmers Furniture is seeking a Credit and AR Supervisor to coordinate accounts receivable and collection duties within a store setting. You will approve or decline credit, investigate finances, and ensure procedures limit losses while growing AR.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing AR operations, and maintaining accurate files and documentation. The role requires a high school diploma and 3 years in accounting or collections, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 3 years experience in accounting/bookkeeping, loan processing, and/or collections.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage AR/collections operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and leads assigned staff, directing work and provides guidance to attain efficient credit operations.
• Manages and oversees AR and collection activities.
• Reviews applications; investigates financial status; approves or denies credit and sets credit limits.
• Contacts customers to collect overdue payments and documents communications.
• Prepares paperwork for legal action and delegates collection tasks as needed.
