Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a creative Visual Merchandiser to bring the showroom to life. This entry-level role focuses on creating inspiring spaces, maintaining displays, and supporting sales by aligning with visual standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in retail merchandising, a strong portfolio, and a passion for interior design. You will collaborate with the store team and participate in hands-on merchandising tasks daily.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail/visual merchandising or related experience.
• Strong creative portfolio or flair for design.
• Passion for interior design and home furnishings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain showroom displays that showcase furniture and home furnishings.
• Execute merchandising displays, floor sets, and planograms according to visual standards.
• Collaborate with Material Handlers and store team to build, move, and set furniture, fixtures, and displays.
• Ensure showroom presentations remain visually appealing and consistent with brand.
• Follow visual merchandising standards, guidelines, and policies.
• Assist with training new team members on visual standards, merchandising, and display expectations.
• Identify opportunities to improve showroom presentation and solve visual merchandising challenges.
• Assist with administrative tasks and other department responsibilities as needed.
