Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Store Visual Merchandiser to create visually engaging store displays, interior layouts, and balanced audio elements under Visual Leadership. You will design merchandise presentation to enhance the shopping experience and attract customers.

The role requires 2 years of retail visual merchandising experience, lifting up to 50 lbs, and flexible hours including weekends. Associate degree in interior design or merchandising is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in retail store visual merchandising, preferably in home furnishings
• Regularly lift objects over 50 lbs with or without accommodation
• Ability to transport loads of 100 lbs with or without accommodation
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Implement a visual merchandising strategy to help achieve sales volume and financial objectives
• Execute visually appealing store displays under Visual Leadership; coordinate layouts for furniture, lighting, and accessories; transition seasonal products
• Remerchandise displays, signage, POS, and select areas to maximize product sell-through; coordinate floor moves and communicate with Visual management
