Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking a Store Visual Merchandiser to design engaging displays and interior layouts that enhance the shopping experience. You will implement merchandising strategies under Visual Leadership and coordinate floor plans for furniture, lighting, and accessories.

The role requires 2 years of retail visual merchandising experience, preferably in home furnishings, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years' experience in retail store visual merchandising, preferably in home furnishings.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• 18 years old or older.
• Associate degree in interior design, merchandising, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement a visual merchandising strategy to support sales and objectives.
• Create visually appealing in-store displays and plan layouts for furniture, lighting, and accessories.
• Refresh displays, signage, and POS items; coordinate with Visual Leadership on product focus and floor moves.
• Maintain store appearance and coordinate maintenance with store management and facilities.
• Check-in shipments, tag products, and participate in bi-annual inventory processes.
• Ensure compliance with Visual Leadership standards and store signage.
• Develop product knowledge and stay current on fashion trends; mentor staff in merchandising basics.
