Job summary

Primary Wave Music in Los Angeles is seeking a Creative Sync Coordinator / Audio Catalog Specialist to join the Los Angeles office. The role requires a minimum of 4 years in music publishing, sync licensing, or a related field, and a passion for music and film/TV synchronization.

You will manage the growing audio catalog using DISCO and collaborate with artists, co-rights holders, and internal teams. You will curate playlists, support outreach campaigns, maintain metadata, supervise interns, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in music publishing, sync licensing or related role.
• Strong relationships with sync industry peers.
• Passion for music across styles and eras.
• Experience with DISCO or similar online pitching platforms.
• Experience with Mailchimp and e-blast design.
• Video editing and digital video file management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of the department's audio catalog, metadata and organization for ingestion into DISCO and other archives.
• Liaise with artists, their representatives, co-rights holders, and internal departments for music and materials.
• Assist with design and execution of sync department e-blast campaigns.
• Curate playlists from catalogs to support pitching for film/tv/ads/games projects.
• Maintain and update department client/ contact info lists.
• Help supervise department interns.
• Attend and participate in creative and all-staff meetings.
• Be a key part of a collaborative and ambitious team.
