Primary Wave is seeking a Synch Coordinator / Audio Catalog Specialist in Los Angeles, CA. You will manage our audio catalog, metadata, ingestion into DISCO, and coordinate with artists and internal teams to secure assets for sync opportunities.

The role requires 4+ years in music publishing, licensing, or related fields, strong knowledge of copyright and the sync process, and proficiency with DISCO, iTunes, Mailchimp, Photoshop, and Canva. Hybrid/onsite work in LA with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in music publishing, licensing, music supervision, or related role.
• Strong understanding of music publishing, copyright, and sync licensing.
• Experience with DISCO and digital audio platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize the department’s audio catalog, ensuring accurate metadata and ingestion into DISCO.
• Coordinate with artists, representatives, co-rights holders, and internal departments to obtain music and assets.
• Support development and execution of sync e-blasts and pitching initiatives.
• Curate and pitch playlists from company catalogs for film, TV, advertising, and other opportunities.
• Maintain client databases, supervise interns, and participate in team meetings.
