Job summary

Translation is seeking a Creative Operations Lead to oversee staffing, capacity planning, and resource management across all active accounts. You will partner with the PM team, manage a staffing platform, and ensure talent is allocated efficiently while protecting margins and timelines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in resource management, project management, creative operations, or a related function within a creative agency or marketing organization.
• Deep understanding of how creative agencies work, the rhythms of production, the difference between billable and non-billable time, and how to protect both.
• Freelance recruiting experience and negotiation skills.
• Experience with resource management tools and platform rollouts.
• Clear, confident communicator who collaborates with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own staffing allocations across all active client accounts and keep real-time updates.
• Lead rollout of Translation's resource management platform as administrator.
• Surface capacity conflicts and risks before delivery problems.
• Partner with PM team to align headcount with project timelines and client demands.
• Source and pipeline freelance talent in advance of high-volume periods.
• Manage freelancer relationships, terms, and a master roster for quick mobilization.
• Oversee awards submissions tracking and case study library for new business and promotion.
