Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an energetic events coordinator for our S.JOS-Westgate store in California. You will plan and deliver children’s parties and craft events, engage guests of all ages, and ensure a fun, creative environment while supporting store operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, instructing participants, handling setup and teardown, and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards to meet our Brand Promises.

Qualifications

• Energetic and enthusiastic personality with excellent people skills.
• Experience working with children and children's events is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate events in-store, including kids' parties and classes.
• Demonstrate and instruct party activities and craft projects.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist guests in-store and at checkout.
