Job summary

Michaels in Mansfield, MA is seeking a dynamic Events Coordinator/Customer Experience teammate to plan and coordinate in-store events, including children’s birthday parties, while helping guests shop and checkout with a smile.

You will lead activities, teach crafts, handle party add-ons, manage emails and calls, and maintain store cleanliness and safety. Retail and customer service experience is preferred; enthusiasm and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct crafts; perform face painting and activities.
• Coordinate party add-ons such as goody bags and balloons.
• Communicate event details with clients and store team members; manage emails and calls.
• Perform administrative tasks and assist with inventory and planograms as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety and cleanliness standards; set up and break down events.
