Michaels in Worcester, MA is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan and run in-store events, including kids’ birthday parties, creating a fun, creative guest experience.

You will greet customers, assist with product selection, manage event setup and teardown, and collaborate with store teams to ensure safety and a seamless checkout. Prior experience with children’s events and strong communication skills are a plus. You’ll also coordinate add-ons and maintain brand standards across activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events in-store, including kids' birthday parties and classes.
• Engage with customers, assist shopping, and ensure quick checkout.
• Communicate events with clients and store teams.
• Set up and break down event spaces; maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Coordinate add-ons (balloons, goody bags) and celebrate guest experiences.
• Handle administrative tasks like emails and paperwork as needed.
• Support omni-channel processes and ensure brand standards.
