Job summary

Michaels in Kildeer, IL is seeking an energetic Events Coordinator to plan and run in-store events, including children's birthday parties, crafts classes, and other gatherings.

You will help customers shop, provide fast checkout, enroll guests in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards, and coordinate with store teams to deliver a fun, safe, and memorable experience.

This role requires great people skills, adaptability, and the ability to juggle multiple events while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events, including children's parties, within the Michaels store.
• Assist customers with product location and shopping solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and participate in BOPIS/SFS processes.
• Support truck unloading, stocking, and planogram tasks.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with safety programs.
• Communicate clearly with clients and store team members; handle administrative tasks.
