Job summary

Michaels in CHICAGO/PULASKI, IL is seeking an enthusiastic Event Coordinator to plan and execute store events including children's parties. You will engage guests, teach crafts, handle checkout support, and assist with inventory and stocking while delivering our Brand Promises.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple events, communicating with clients and team members, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

• Engage clients of all ages to create a fun, creative environment.
• Demonstrate and instruct party activities, including face painting.
• Coordinate add-ons (goody bags, balloons) to company standards.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members; handle administrative tasks.
