Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Store Events Coordinator in Lebanon, PA to plan and coordinate in-store events, including kids’ birthday parties and craft classes.

You will engage customers, assist in finding products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. Responsibilities include event setup, customer communication, and collaboration with store teams while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working with children and children’s events.
• Retail and/or customer service experience required.
• Must have good communication skills, including listening and verbal skills.
• Must have organizational skills and creative problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events (e.g., children’s parties and craft classes) in-store.
• Engage customers of all ages and assist with product locating and solutions.
• Deliver fast, friendly checkout and support store operations as needed.
• Communicate events with clients and store team members, and handle emails/phone calls.
• Set up, run, and teardown events; create backup plans as needed.
• Cross-train in framing selling/production where applicable.
