Job summary

NEFA seeks a Program Coordinator, Creative Economy, to advance storytelling, engagement, and practical support for New England’s artists and creative enterprises.

Reporting to the Senior Program Director, you will manage communications, campaigns, events, and data storytelling across CreativeGround and related initiatives, coordinating with partners and staff to grow the region’s creative economy.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of professional experience in communications/marketing and/or front-facing constituent support roles.
  • Outstanding communication skills – verbal and written with audience adaptation.
  • Knowledge of online marketing campaign tools and strategies, including content for websites and social media.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with Senior Program Director and Communications Contractor to produce and distribute marketing content, campaigns, and materials to key stakeholders.
  • Maintain the department’s editorial calendar, content lists, campaign plans, and toolkits for constituents.
  • Edit and distribute program communications, including monthly eblasts, blog posts, social media content, and audience invitations.
  • Copyedit and manage CreativeGround site content with SEO best practices and branding across platforms, events, and communications.
  • Track constituent responses and engagement across platforms to inform program plans and activity.
  • Support staff in integration of CreativeGround and Creative Economy communications and maintain staff toolkit and shared calendar.
