Job summary

Generation Citizen seeks a Director, Regional Partnerships & Programs for the New England region. Hybrid role with travel, leading growth, partnerships, and program delivery for schools and districts.

You will manage a regional program team, drive data-informed decisions, and ensure high-quality civics education programs across partners. You will report to the New England Region’s Executive Director and collaborate with fundraising, policy, and impact teams to scale impact while stewarding

Qualifications

• 5+ years of nonprofit or education experience.
• 3+ years of partnership recruitment and development.
• Experience with middle or high school students, educators, and administrators.
• Self-starter with ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple streams of work.
• Travel within New England region and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic pursuit and cultivation of new school and district partnerships to recruit and secure fee-for-service contracts.
• Steward partnership relationships to ensure long-term programming sustainability.
• Lead and coach regional program managers to ensure high-quality execution and staff development.
• Oversee data and reporting for regional performance metrics and forecasts.
• Lead Civics Day execution and regional program team meetings and trainings.
• Oversee national teacher professional development institutes logistics and facilitation.
• Manage a small teacher caseload as needed.
• Support annual program goals in collaboration with program teams.
• Assist with regional budget planning and fund management.
