Job summary

Goddard House in Brookline, MA seeks a Creative Aging Program Manager to oversee CAC programs and partnerships. You will coordinate logistics, support teaching artists, interns, and volunteers, and help plan exhibitions, events, and outreach across Boston-area elder housing communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• 3+ years of experience in program coordination, project management, community engagement, volunteer management, arts administration or related field
• Experience supervising interns or volunteers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong editing, proofreading, presentation and storytelling abilities
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders
• Strong proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated project management skills balancing multiple projects, programs, and deadlines
• Ability to exercise discretion, work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and ability to travel between program sites 50-75% of the work week
• Physical ability to lift and move supplies and equipment up to 30 pounds

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of CAC programs and partnerships
• Support interns, volunteers, and teaching artists through recruitment, onboarding, and scheduling
• Plan exhibitions, performances, celebrations, and events; manage attendance and outcomes data
• Develop newsletters, flyers, digital content, and promotional materials
• Prepare materials for fundraising, grant reporting, and donor communications
• Support development staff with materials and information for donor stewardship
