Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role is required.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation principles and safe handling is required.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification is required.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with others is needed.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, and chopping food items.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and coworkers.
• Adheres to safety policies and procedures including food safety and sanitation.
