Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team, bringing recipes to life with creativity and fresh ingredients. You will work with production guidelines and safety procedures to ensure quality while exploring different cuisines and cooking styles.

You’ll set up stations, measure and prepare ingredients, operate ovens and equipment, and maintain food safety, sanitation, and positive guest interactions. Experience as a cook and certification readiness are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation and food safety.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel ingredients.
• Safely use utensils including knives and operate ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various cooking methods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
• Store food per safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure asset security.
