Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to bring recipes to life with creativity and fresh ingredients. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, following production guidelines and safety procedures while crafting diverse dishes and maintaining high standards of quality.

You'll set up stations, measure ingredients, and operate ovens and other equipment, while delivering friendly service to guests and ensuring food safety compliance in every step.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely use a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods on meats, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines.
• Store food properly by adhering to safety policies and procedures.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor toward guests and staff.
• Adhere to Aramark safety policies and sanitation standards.
