You’ll set up stations, prepare ingredients, and cook diverse items per standardized recipes, maintaining sanitation and customer service at all times. This role emphasizes teamwork and consistent food quality in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role required.
• Knowledge of basic principles of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as handling, sanitation, and storage.
• Must be able to acquire food safety certification.
• Demonstrate basic math and counting skills.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and recipes.
• Sets up workstation with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers and other equipment.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses diverse cooking methods.
• Arranges and portions food according to guidelines.
• Maintains food safety and sanitation policies; cleans work areas and equipment.
