Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Seattle is seeking a Cook/Commis Chef with a passion for presentation and flavor. You will take ownership of your workstation, manage supplies and waste, and ensure cleanliness to exceed local hygiene standards.

You’ll also assist with washing up and other kitchen duties as needed. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, reading/writing and basic math, and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Fluent in the local language and able to read, write, and do basic math.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Compliant with local food handling and serving alcohol laws.
• Great communication and a friendly approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals with attention to presentation and flavor.
