You will lead apprentices, support store initiatives, and deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and a commitment to high-quality product.

Qualifications

• Experience in cake and pastry decorating; ability to create decorative flowers and borders.
• Understanding of color theory for buttercream colors and coordinating palettes.
• Follows recipes and procedures; good time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, and special-order items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes following standard procedures to meet demand; maintain records.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Merchandise products in display case and ensure freshness and proper rotation.
• Provide guidance to Bakery Decorator Apprentices and other team members.
• Create special-order cake designs based on customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with phones and inquiries.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work area and equipment safety per standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties and ensure accurate signage.
• Other duties as assigned.
