Qualifications

• Efficient cake and pastry decorating skills with piping techniques.
• Understanding color theory for buttercream color blending and palette coordination.
• Ability to follow recipes, directions, and procedures with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, and other bakery items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes following standard procedures to meet business demand and track production.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed.
• Merchandise products in display cases and ensure product rotation and freshness.
• Provide guidance to Bakery Decorator Apprentices and team members.
• Create special order cake designs based on customer preferences.
• Deliver excellent customer service and handle phones promptly.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in line with safety standards.
