Job summary

The GIANT Company in Harleysville, PA is seeking a bakery team member to support daily bakery operations and guest service. You will help with frosting, cake decoration, order handling, and maintaining a clean, safe bakery area.

The role requires adherence to food safety standards, flexibility for shift schedules, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Previous bakery experience is a plus, and the position is onsite at our Harleysville store.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate to complete job duties and follow safety rules.
• Must adhere to food safety and sanitation practices.
• Must complete the 60-day introductory period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Must wear proper clothing and shoes for the job.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery work by reviewing the schedule and required supplies.
• Mix frosting, color frosting, make cones, load cones, frost cakes, and decorate.
• Take, complete, and store orders in the bakery cooler.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors, and counters.
• Track and record loss.
• Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation habits.
