Job summary

The GIANT Company in Warminster, PA is seeking a Bakery Team Member to support daily bakery operations. You’ll start by reviewing the shift schedule, gathering supplies, and complying with PPE requirements to prepare for duties.

You will frost, decorate, and assemble baked goods, take and fulfill orders, and store items in the bakery cooler with attention to quality and cleanliness. This role emphasizes food safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must read, write, and communicate to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 60 days.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base scores for this position.
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must meet the company performance standards for the job including but not limited to regular attendance.
• Must agree to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of the shift, check equipment and supplies, comply with PPE, and prepare for duties.
• Mix frosting, color frosting, make cones, load cones, frost cakes, and decorate cakes with colored frosting.
• Take orders, complete orders, and store orders in the bakery cooler.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools and equipment, all display cases, and all floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
• Must demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation work habits.
