Job summary

The GIANT Company in Thorndale, PA is seeking a bakery team member to support daily bakery operations, including frosting cakes, taking and fulfilling orders, cleaning work surfaces, and ensuring food safety standards.

You will review the shift schedule, prepare supplies, use PPE, and work with a team to meet customer needs; prior experience is preferred and a 60-day probation applies; must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, and communicate to complete duties and follow policies.
• Must complete a 60-day probation period.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements.
• Must be able to use or learn to use required equipment.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at shift start and prepare required PPE and supplies.
• Frosting, color frosting, cone loading, frosting cakes, and cake decoration.
• Take, fulfill, and store orders in bakery cooler.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, display cases, floors, and counters.
• Track and record loss and follow food safety practices.
