Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a Bakery Team Member at our Harrisburg store. You will review the day's schedule, prepare for duties, frost and decorate cakes, take and store bakery orders, and help ensure accurate, delicious bakery products for customers.

You will follow PPE requirements, maintain food safety and sanitation, keep work surfaces and equipment clean, and support loss prevention while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must read, write, and communicate to complete duties and follow policies.
• Must complete the company introductory period (60 days).
• Must meet physical requirements and be able to use equipment safely.
• Must meet performance standards including regular attendance.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at shift start and prepare supplies and PPE.
• Frosting, decorate cakes, load and decorate cones, and manage bakery displays.
• Take, complete, and store bakery orders per procedures.
• Clean and sanitize all surfaces, tools, equipment, displays, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss and uphold food safety and sanitation practices.
