Job summary

The GIANT Company in New Cumberland, PA is seeking a bakery team member to support daily bakery operations, including cake decoration, frosting, taking and completing orders, and storing them in the bakery cooler.

You will help ensure food safety and sanitation, review schedules and equipment at shift start, and work with the team to meet customer needs while upholding company standards and service quality.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have valid identification.
• Must read, write, and communicate effectively to perform duties and follow safety policies.
• Must complete a 60-day introductory period.
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements and operate equipment safely.
• 1 year of work experience or technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule and PPE at the start of the shift.
• Mix frosting, color frosting, make cones, load cones, frost cakes, and decorate cakes.
• Take orders, complete orders, and store orders in the bakery cooler.
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, tools and equipment, display cases, floors and counters.
• Track and record loss.
• Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation practices.
