Job summary

PACS is seeking an Activity Assistant to support the Activity Director in creating a creative, interactive activities program for residents. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate standards and helps tailor activities to each resident's interests and needs.

You will assist in planning monthly calendars, maintaining attendance, and supporting activity care plans and resident assessments.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Strong communication with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and participate in activities for individuals and groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct individual, small and large group activities.
• Assist in communication between employees, residents, families, and the public.
• Assist in development of monthly activity calendar and attendance records.
• Assist in discharge planning and activity care plans as requested by the Activity Director.
• Arrange transportation for residents to outings, appointments, or discharge.
