Job summary
Provident Bank in New Jersey is seeking a Commercial Real Estate professional to originate, evaluate, and structure complex loan requests while assisting senior lenders with loan production and portfolio management. The role emphasizes cross-selling other bank products and increasing market visibility.
As the less experienced member of the loan family, you will develop underwriting skills, perform detailed financial analyses, and support loan closings in line with policy and regulatory
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in the financial industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- Comprehensive loan analysis experience.
- Comprehensive financial analysis experience and knowledge of underwriting techniques.
Responsibilities
- Solicits credit-worthy potential and existing customers to develop new business.
- Prepares loan presentations with detailed financial analysis and assessment of borrower capacity and creditworthiness.
- Assesses lending risks and makes recommendations on loan structure with sound credit judgment.
- Establishes and promotes customer relationships; cross-sells bank products and services.
- Manages all aspects of the assigned loan portfolio with focus on policy compliance and credit quality.
- Facilitates closing of loan transactions in strict compliance with terms.
