Job summary

Provident Bank is seeking a seasoned Loan Servicing Representative IV (Commercial) in Woodbridge, NJ. The role handles advanced loan servicing across a diverse portfolio, including commercial real estate and construction loans, serving as a subject matter expert and training others.

You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of funds, modifications, and escrow activities, while supporting audit and quality controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of loan servicing experience, including commercial loans, CRE, construction loans, and complex lending.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand loan documentation and related agreements.
• Working knowledge of Horizon and ACBS systems; strong PC proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for billing and operational reporting.
• Ability to manage workflow, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and cross-team collaboration.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial loan servicing activities including funds application, tax payments, and customer inquiries.
• Ensure deadlines are met for internal and external customers; resolve high-priority issues.
• Set up borrower and financial data for new closings; verify accuracy against loan documents.
• Process loan modifications (extensions, rate changes, transfers) with proper approvals.
• Administer real estate tax escrow disbursement; resolve discrepancies and respond to borrower inquiries.
• Handle monthly billing and verify address accuracy for mailed statements.
• Process monetary transactions including payments, fees, payoffs, and advances; perform adjustments as needed.
• Train new staff on bank policies; perform other duties as assigned.
