Job summary

Provident Bank is seeking an experienced Loan Closing Specialist to facilitate commercial loan closings and act as the liaison among customers, Relationship Managers, and attorneys. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, productivity, and customer satisfaction within a banking environment in the New Jersey/Eastern PA region.

The candidate will handle pre-closing documentation, file setup, closing coordination, and post-closing processing, while maintaining procedures and generating routine

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial loan closing and ability to apply it.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage heavy workflow with minimal supervision and attention to detail.
• Proficient with software and systems; Microsoft Office; LaserPro knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review pre-closing documentation for commercial loans.
• Coordinate with attorneys and managers to schedule closings.
• Set up loan files, process post-closing documents, and generate reports.
• Maintain loan closing reference procedures and assist with daily department duties.
• Review OFAC and Patriot Act information as required.
