Job summary

Jobot is seeking a CRE Property Accountant to join our team in Miami Beach, FL. The role requires ownership of CAM reconciliations, full-cycle AP/AR, and general property accounting for a retail real estate portfolio.

You’ll work on-site with a small team, ensuring accurate ledgers and timely month-end close. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of CRE accounting experience, strong knowledge of NNN leases, and proficiency in Yardi Voyager and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• CAM reconciliations: ownership of schedules and reconciliations.

• Cross-department support: coordinate with PM and Brokerage on expenses.

Job Title: CRE Property Accountant

Location: Miami-Dade County, FL (100% On-Site)

Compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 Base Salary + Discretionary Bonus

We are a privately held, entrepreneurial, and retail-focused commercial real estate company with expertise encompassing the various facets of real estate investments, entitlement, redevelopment, and asset management. We are currently seeking a qualified Property Accountant to support our growing portfolio of single- and multi-tenant retail assets in Miami-Dade County.

Working closely with our Financial Controller and a tight-knit team of three, this role takes complete ownership of CAM reconciliations, day-to-day property accounting, and full-cycle AP/AR.

Key Responsibilities

• CAM Reconciliations: Complete ownership of preparing, reviewing, and reconciling Common Area Maintenance (CAM) schedules.
• AP & AR Management: Handle full-cycle property Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, issue invoices, apply payments, and manage intercompany reconciliations.
• Ledgers & Journal Entries: Track and monitor tenant ledgers, post and process journal entries at month-end, and perform credit card reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting Assistance: Assist the Controller in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other core financial statements.
• Cross-Department Support: Collaborate with Property Management and Brokerage departments to review expenses and handle payment processing.
• Data Maintenance: Update financial data accurately and timely, while assisting with ad-hoc accounting projects as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Accounting is a must.
• Lease Knowledge: Deep, working knowledge and understanding of NNN (Triple Net) leases.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Yardi Voyager (highly preferred) and QuickBooks.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a bookkeeping certificate is preferred.
• Work Style: Highly organized, hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a 100% on-site office environment.
