Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant for our Coral Gables, FL office. This permanent, on-site role offers $90,000–$100,000 per year with full benefits.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in accounting, preferably in real estate, and experiences with CAM reconciliations, month-end, year-end close, NNN leases, and MRI. You will oversee ledgers, prepare analyses and reports for senior management, ensure internal controls, and collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifikationen

Job Details

Join our dynamic team as a Permanent Senior Accountant in the Accounting and Finance industry. This role is perfect for an experienced professional who is looking to utilize their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, challenging environment. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting duties, including CAM Recs, Month-end, Year-end, NNN leases, and MRI. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the completion of ledger accounts and financial statements, including the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process.
• Managing and performing CAM reconciliations and ensuring accurate billing in accordance with lease agreements.
• Conducting financial analysis and preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
• Ensuring compliance with all internal controls and corporate policies, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
• Reviewing and analyzing NNN leases and providing accurate accounting treatment and reporting.
• Working closely with the finance team to forecast and budget, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Utilizing MRI software for property management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Proficiency in CAM Recs, Month-end, Year-end, NNN leases, and MRI software.
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation or Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
