Job summary

American Outliers in Charleston, SC is seeking a Sales Inspector to drive revenue for a residential crawlspace repair company. You will meet homeowners, inspect crawlspaces, identify issues, and present repair solutions, owning the process from inspection to proposal and closing.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable in a blue-collar environment, and able to manage a daily schedule with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly with customers.
• Proven ability to sell, influence, negotiate, or communicate solutions effectively.
• Self-starter with discipline to manage an independent daily schedule.
• Comfort working in a hands-on, blue-collar environment, including crawlspaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough residential crawlspace inspections to identify moisture, water intrusion, structural damage, wood rot, and other repair needs.
• Develop scopes of work, recommend solutions, and present repair proposals.
• Manage the full sales process, including inspections, estimates, follow-up, and closing.
• Build trust with homeowners through clear communication, professionalism, and a consultative approach to sales.
• Manage your daily schedule, appointments, and sales pipeline using company-provided technology.
• Partner with operations and field crews to ensure accurate project scopes and smooth execution.
• Support local business development through networking, referrals, and relationship building.
• Consistently meet sales performance expectations while delivering an excellent customer experience.
