Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatching, scheduling, or administrative support.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficiency with service management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in industrial services, construction, or equipment maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA/ASME standards related to crane inspection and repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inspections, repairs, maintenance, and emergency service calls for crane technicians.
• Coordinate daily workloads and dispatch field personnel based on priority, location, and skillset.
• Monitor job progress and update stakeholders on timelines, changes, or delays.
• Create, update, and close work orders in the service management system.
• Ensure documentation—service reports, inspection forms, compliance records, parts usage, and labor hours—is complete and accurate.
• Track open jobs and follow up to ensure timely completion and invoicing readiness.
• Support internal safety initiatives and technician readiness (certifications, lift plans, etc.).
• Coordinate with sales teams to provide quotes or service estimates when needed.
• Assist in tracking technician hours, equipment usage, and job costs for reporting.
• Provide administrative support for service department goals and projects.
• Authority to stop production in the event due to poor quality, unsafe parts or conditions appear.
