Job summary

Mazzella in Virginia Beach is seeking a Service Coordinator to oversee scheduling and execution of crane service work. You will supervise Field Service Technicians, coordinate with customers, prepare quotations, and ensure on-time delivery of parts and services.

This role requires a high school diploma, 4+ years in admin or technical environments, strong communication, multitasking, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Qualifications

• 4 years minimum experience in an administrative, customer service or technical environment.
• Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively.
• Experience scheduling multiple employees and supervising.
• Knowledge of crane and hoist service industry.
• Must pass drug screen, physical, and E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage scheduling of crane service work (inspections, repairs, upgrades, emergency service).
• Analyze and update service scheduling including technician assignment.
• Establish and maintain rapport with customers to provide the best service.
• Prepare service quotations and submit to customers for installation, repairs and upgrades.
• Source and purchase crane parts and components for service work.
• Coordinate with customers and technicians to ensure on-time completion.
• Review technician time for payroll accuracy.
• Maintain department documents, files, records and reports.
• Prepare jobs for startup with parts, manuals, drawings and dates.
• Track closings for monthly projections.
