Job summary

Lift Solutions Holdings is seeking a motivated Crane Rope Sales Specialist to grow our presence in wire rope, synthetic rope, slings, and rigging hardware. You will work with customers to understand lifting applications, recommend products, prepare quotations, and deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of outdoor industrial sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ outside sales in industrial lifting or related fields.
• Strong presentation, negotiating, and active listening skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and product specs.
• Must be highly motivated with strong integrity and work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Grow sales of wire rope, synthetic rope, slings, rigging hardware, and lifting devices.
• Evaluate lifting applications and recommend the right rope/rigging solution.
• Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up on inquiries.
• Read specifications to provide technical product recommendations.
• Educate customers on features, inspection, maintenance, and safe use of products.
• Conduct customer site visits to assess equipment needs and opportunities for upgrades.
• Collaborate with operations and vendors to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, ASME, and lifting standards.
• Keep CRM records up to date and track sales opportunities.

We are searching for a motivated and customer-focused Crane Rope Sales Specialist to grow our presence. This person will grow sales of wire rope, high-performance synthetic rope, lifting slings, rigging hardware, and related lifting solutions. This role partners with customers to understand lifting applications, recommend the right products, prepare quotations, and deliver exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, industry knowledge, and a passion for helping customers improve safety, productivity, and equipment performance.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Grow sales of wire rope, high-performance synthetic rope, synthetic and chain slings, rigging hardware, below-the-hook lifting devices, and related lifting products.
• Evaluate customer lifting applications and recommend the most appropriate rope or rigging solution.
• Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up on customer inquiries.
• Read customer specifications, engineering drawings, and lifting requirements to provide technical product recommendations.
• Educate customers on the features, benefits, inspection, maintenance, and safe use of wire rope, synthetic rope, and lifting products.
• Conduct customer site visits to evaluate lifting equipment and identify opportunities for replacement, upgrades, and preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with operations, fabrication, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, ASME, and industry standards related to lifting, rigging, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and opportunity pipelines within the CRM.
• Represent Lift Solutions with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first approach while supporting the company's CRANES core values.

Qualifications & Education

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years’ previous proven outside sales experience in industrial sales, lifting and rigging, overhead cranes, wire rope, synthetic rope, or material handling.
• Must be a highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
• Maintain data relative to accounts, prospects, and activities, including customer interactions and documentation.
• Strong presentation, selling, negotiation, and active listening skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and product specifications.
• Highly effective communication skills required - daily interactions with Warehouse Personnel, Wire Fabricators, Branch Managers, customers, and prospects.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Education:

• College degree preferred, not required.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional trade associations.

A familiarity with computer software applications such CRM, MS Office Suite.
