Job summary

Lift Solutions Holdings in Illinois is recruiting a Crane Rope Sales Specialist to grow demand for wire rope, synthetic rope, lifting slings, and related equipment. You will partner with customers to assess applications, propose the right products, prepare quotes, and deliver exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of outside industrial sales experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ outside sales in industrial sales, lifting and rigging, or material handling.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and integrity.
• Maintain data on accounts, prospects, activities, and interactions.
• Strong presentation, selling, negotiation, and active listening skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and product specifications.
• Willingness to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.
• Grow sales of wire rope, synthetic rope, slings, rigging hardware, and related lifting products.
• Evaluate lifting applications and recommend the right solution.
• Prepare quotations, process orders, and follow up on inquiries.
• Read specifications and drawings to provide technical recommendations.
• Educate customers on features, inspection, maintenance, and safe use.
• Conduct site visits to assess equipment and opportunities for replacement or maintenance.
• Collaborate with operations, fabrication, vendors, and manufacturers for timely delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of OSHA, ASME, and industry standards related to lifting equipment.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity in the CRM.
• Represent Lift Solutions with professionalism and a customer-first approach.
