Job summary

Bigge Crane and Rigging seeks a service technician to repair, service, and maintain rough terrain, crawler, and mobile cranes and forklifts. The role requires strong mechanical skills in electrical, drivetrain, engines, hydraulics, and computer-controlled systems.

Requires 3–5 years of crane maintenance experience, ability to read schematics, lift up to 40 lbs, and willingness to work evenings and weekends. High school diploma required; vocational training a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background with electrical, drivetrain, engines, hydraulics, and computer-controlled systems.
• Experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile crane equipment.
• Ability to read schematics (hydraulic and electrical).
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and service bulletins.
• Maintain tools and work truck inventory; drive company service truck when required.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment and forklifts.
• Must have strong background in electrical, drive train, engines, hydraulics, and computer-controlled systems.
• 3–5 years of crane maintenance experience.
• Work evenings and weekends for crane repairs in the shop.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other personnel.
