Job summary

Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. is seeking a field service crane mechanic in the United States. The role focuses on repairing and maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, along with forklifts.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical, drive train, engine, hydraulic, and computer-controlled system knowledge, with crane diagnostics expertise. You will read schematics, perform inspections, and communicate professionally with supervisors.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year repairing and maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Must supply own hand tools and maintain inventory.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; able to drive service truck.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, plus forklifts.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in cranes and related systems.
• Perform annual certifications and inspections of cranes.
• Occasional evenings and weekends for crane repairs in shop.
