Bigge Crane and Rigging is seeking a Field Service Mechanic in Dallas, TX. You will repair and maintain rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, with focus on service and repair and occasional forklift work. Travel for extended periods is required.

The role demands strong electrical, hydraulic, drive train, and diagnostic skills, plus ability to read schematics. On-call nights and weekends are possible to support crane repairs at customer sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining mobile crane equipment (rough terrain, crawler, and/or mobile).
• Vocational training may be considered in lieu of experience.
• Ability to travel on short notice and be away overnight, sometimes for several days.

Responsibilities

• Repairing and maintaining rough terrain, crawler, and mobile crane equipment, and forklifts, focusing on service and repair.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, supervisors, and other personnel.
• Read schematics (hydraulic and electrical).
• Load capacity and crane readings, ensuring safe operation and compliance.
